Delicious (different) Shrimp Dip recipe

I am always looking for different ways to prepare shrimp- instead of just the old stand-bys (although I think I could eat steamed shrimp almost every day).

You will need-

8 large cleaned, chopped shrimp

1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream

8 oz. softened Cream Cheese

1/2 cup Smoked Gouda cheese-shredded

1/4 cup diced red bell pepper

1/4 cup diced yellow onion

salt and pepper to taste

Shredded Romano Cheese

First- Heat a little oil in a skillet, add the diced red bell pepper and onion and saute until lightly browned. Add the heavy whipping cream and the chopped shrimp. Slowly add the cream cheese, smoked gouda cheese, salt and pepper- stirring continually until creamy.  Pour into a baking dish and top with the Romano cheese. Brown in a 400 degree oven until lightly browned.  Serve with toast points.

(Toast points are simply toasted bread/ quartered from corner to corner).

Let me know when you try this one!  Enjoy, Kathy
